ATM there is a 50 mod limit if launching via steam. are you over that?

Here's a workaround:

Unsubsribe from any mods you are confident don't need to regularly sync. Don't worry, they're still there. Get your total below 50. Now when the launcher works through its sync routine it'll tell you some didn't load. Don't worry.

DO not launch the game yet! Go into your Game files menu and tick the boxes for all the mods you still want to use. Now you can download more mods and still use your old ones.

Launch game - it works.

In any case, just go into your game files menu and tick all the boxes for your no longer subscribed mods and they'll work.

Apparently they were downloading. It just didn't say it. But I am below 50.

Please dont revive old threads.

For your issue:
Help thread: CK/Workshop update problem
http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/611701360834184285/
Please be aware, the solutions in that thread are not a guarantee and unfortunetly fixing the bug this time does not stop it from happening again. The only permanent solution that we can offer at the moment is to move as many of your mods to the nexus as you can, especially scripted mods which are likely to break your game if the bug happens in the middle of a character, and find nexus replacements for those you can't.

It is not just Skyrim or TES games, steam has major problems going on in general. I have big problems with my Civilization Beyond Earth.

Nexus mods work fine as long as you install them properly via a mod manager. So if you're having issues with that, please make a new thread with all relevent info such as what tools you are using and what mods youre trying to install
