Weapons to store souls with

Okay so by mistake sold my soul-binding weapon and can't find it again :S Might someone tell me where to find others?

I got some in my workshop items if you fancy a retextured Soul trap dagger or three? Up to you :)

Well If I come across one I disenchant the first one after that I just enchant a new one much easier. btw there are plenty to be found in skyrim.

Speedfreak has made a valid point here;

Once you learn the soultrap spell, you have carte blanche on enchanting another weapon! :D

Not only that, but once you learn any enchantment....and keep using the Enchanter to up your skills, your enchantments grow more powerful :P

(note the Arcane Blacksmith perk in Smithing tree)

wait. I can enchant and Item with the spell? Or you mean I have to dischant the item first to gain the ability? As I don't have ANY weapon with that ability atm that's no option obviously...

So I hoped someone would know a safe place to find one. Like any merchant or whatsoever.

you disenchant the weapon first (weapon will be destroyed) then you select the spell (soultrap) you select the weapon you want to use it on and you select a filled soulstone and then you choose craft ... and you have a bow, sword or whatever with a soultrap capability

yeah I got that. But I don't have ANY weapon to destroy and for a moment I thought you mean the actual spell soultrap that you get in whiterun from the magician in the castle to enchant, too. Like Healing or Firestorm.

Just about all disenchantable (i.e. non-Unique/named) weapons and armour are pretty much randomly scattered around the world. HOWEVER, there is one weapon with the 'firey soul trap' enchantment (as you might guess, it does fire damage as well as trapping their soul on death) which can always be found in the same spot, a fairly easy tomb near Dawnstar. Can't remember the name, but if you google 'firey soul trap skyrim' you should find it pretty easily, maybe add 'near dawnstar'. It's a battleaxe, but as the others have said, disenchant it and you can apply it to ANY weapon you like (I like having it on my bow and my sword, great for ploughing through draugr...)

Another option, is go the Conjuration route, with Bound Weapons - dagger if you've got Dragonborn, then sword, battleaxe and bow (this can be found in a particular fort at any point in the game, so you can have it from level 1 if you go straight there and beat the residents of that fort) Once you get your skill up to a certain point, you can spend I think it's either three or four perk points to get more damage and then 'mystic binding' which basically makes all your bound weapons into Soul Trap weapons.

Soul trap is a spell as well an enchantment. The other possibility is you could make a Soul trap weapon in the CK and place it somewhere.

eves, Simply subscribe, and it will be in your game. No conflicts, no bugs...just a duplication of the Akaviiri Katana in the 'Steel' category of the forge.

once subscribed, Just bring 1 Iron Ingot, 1 Leather strips + 1 Steel Ingot (for tempering) with you to any forge, enjoy your soultrap Sword :)

Use it, or destroy it at your lesiure. I have given the charge 10,000, the damage is 21 (two handed equivalent) and the enchantment is better than what you could make, but if you just want the spell, feel free to destroy it at an enchantment table, after all, you can always go make another sword muahahahaha!

Just use the soul-trap spell. It's easy to use and get.

There are 2 types of soul trap spell, weapons enchanted with it (the only source of this type of spell) and a Book you can find or buy. This type can only be cast, not applied to a weapon.

You find an enchanted axe with Fiery Soul Trap in Ironbound Barrow, its the same as soul trap but includes Fire damage as well, 2 for the price of 1

Just disenchant it to learn the spell, apply it to any weapon of your choice

Its the only place you'll find an item enchanted with this valuable spell iirc.

the spell is annoying if you are used to fight with 2 weapons as I always have to switch 'hands' which is just super bugging in fights. Thanks for the workshop item! I gonna have a look, just as in this dungeon near downstar. I just realized though that the weapon of Molag Bal also has soul trap which I own (and of course would never destroy) but it never really works, even loaded...hm. So definitely checking on the tipps here! Thanks!
