Fourth time's a Charm! Last build! LOL, I mean it!!!
For those of you who have been following my "The last build: of fun and folly" thread, here is the new one.

As we all know, Steam threw us a little curveball last night as there is now a 50 mod limit. Could be an error, could be permanent, who knows?. All I know is that I can't play Mr. Buttons now. Don't worry, I still have Mr. Button's saves and made a collection of his mods, so if things ever return to normal, than we can resume with Mr. Button's wild adventures, as he was a fine little build.

I can sit and sulk, but honestly, there are people who are a lot worse off. So I've trimmed the fat off my mod list and came up with 50. Here they are below for those who are interested. All have been previously tested in gameplay by me, and work well, save the new home mod, which is brand new, but I've downloaded Elianora's stuff before. She's a great modder.

Enhancing the look and sounds of the game
Project Reality:Climates Of Tamriel - Lite Version
Ultimate NPC Face Unlocker
XCE - Xenius Character Enhancement
Sounds of Skyrim - The Wilds
Sounds of Skyrim - The Dungeons
Birds and Flocks Hearthfire Edition
Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM Part 5
Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM Part 4
Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM Part 3
Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM Part 2
Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM Part 1
Water And Terrain Enhancement Redux
Vurt Flora Overhaul (Redux)
Lush Grass
HD Plants + Herbs
Vibrant Auroras
HQ snow texture
Deeper Snow (More Snow)
Better Dynamic snow
Enhanced Distant Terrain
Enhanced Blood Textures 3.5d

Utilities and small fixes
House Mods
Severin Manor Improvements
The Paarthurnax Dilemma
General fixes to followers
Localized Thieves Guild Jobs
Unlimited Bookshelves
Improved Smithing

Overhauls and gameplay
The Hunting Game
2X Slower Leveling
Cooking Overhaul
More Dragons!
Longer Dragon Battles 2x (Dawnguard Addon)
Longer Dragon Battles 2x (Dragonborn Addon)
Longer Dragon Battles 2x
Better Combat AI

Mods of a more dubious nature. Some would view these as cheats or exploits, and I’d agree with them. However, they improve my game sufficiently enough that I warrant their inclusion. Many of them encourage a no crafting build. IMO, abusive crafting can be just as exploitive.

Oblivious Horses - Ess, Stam, & Spd - Dawnguard Ready
Increased Merchant Gold Count (merchants should have money)
Dragon Blood - Extra Perk Points
More loot from chests
Wear Circlets with Hoods (there is a hood that allows this too)
Helms with Circlets (if you're using a falmer helmet, you're doing this anyway)
Non-Leveled Item Rewards
Arcane Blacksmith Level 20 (IMO, grinding to 60 is just as bad)

New content – essentially 3 dlcs worth of material.
Moonpath HD texture pack
Moonpath to Elsweyr
Northern Encounters v2.7b
Wyrmstooth
Holmwood – Player House for Vampire Hunters (I gotta have a house mod by Elianora, she is the best!)

It's a nice little collection. Mostly textures and new content. Should give really nice gameplay for a lot of different build types while staying very true to Vanilla concepts. A lot of really good mods didn't make the final cut to 50. Bandolier Bags and Pouches was hardest to let go as was droppable Stones of Barenziah and Hearthfire display case fixes. They are awesom mods that you should totally check out.

Thank goodness I like the Shieldmage play style a lot, as this is like my 5th try with this build type. Four times with Mr. Buttons clones and a first run through with an Imperial. I removed the magic mods. I want to see what Vanilla magic has to offer. I dabbled with it in my first Vanilla playthrough, but I've only done mage builds with mods, so let's fairly assess magic in Skyrim. Same type of build.

Majors - Heavy armor, Block, Alteration, Smithing
minors - Destruction, Restoration, Archery, maybe Enchanting if I don't find what I need

Race: gotta love Khajiit, but I think I'll actually make an Argonian this time around. Race matters very little. It's all about perk choices. Or an Orc and give Urag some company.

Thanks for looking, feel free to comment. The thread's purpose is for discussion.

Here's to turning lemons into lemonade! :)

I saved Mr. Button's files anyway, so if things are fixed, I can go back to the game.

Well say goodbye to Martin cause I changed my mind. I got to thinking about the game and I forgot that I've NEVER played a Redguard, EVER. So, meet Bazil.

The name means "merciful" according to the Arabic baby name generator. Well, so let's make him a Vigilant of Stendarr type build. I can keep my shield and I can keep melting people's faces off.
