how to revive vampire victims and stop vampire attacks
I have been the witness for several vampire assualts. What if these vampires kill some important NPCs so that I might have some trouble finishing some quests or doing the purchasing? I have already encontered some problems. e.g. The riverwood trader was reanimated as an undead by a master vampire and then he turned to some ashes after his death. I can't even resurrect him by the console command. And I can't find the female Orc smith in Markarth after the local vampire attack. So what should I do to revive and save these NPCs? Will it work if I kill all vampires in that Dawnguard DLC and clear all vampire lairs in Skyrim?

Indeed I use that mod too I found it just strange that a vampire in full vampire armor just could walk in a city and cause mayhem ...

I use "when vampires attack" by Arthmoor; when a vampire attacks in town it sends all the NPCs except for the guards running to their homes or the nearest inn or store. This way you do not get an essential NPC like Belethor killed and it also clears the way to kill them without accidentaly killing a townfolk in the scrum and making everybody around you hostile. Works for me!

I may have to look into this. Adrienne the smith in whiterun got killed in a vamp attack and I had to reload, as she's one of my favorite merchants.(If for no other reason than she's right there in front of the city gates) So did one of the people from Radient Raiment. No great loss there...I did manage to find a key to the store on their corpse tho...I also wound up with a bounty and an assault in that one because Hawk eye? Eagle-Eye? Can't remember his name offhand walked right in front of my sword as I was trying to dispatch a vamp.
just get the essential NPC mod or use the mod above from Nexus
