Can't believe people rate this game so high with all the bugs that are STILL in the game.
I had to spend 2 hours finding a way to get the horendous mouse lag reduced in this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=♥♥♥JDJ8sOfQ

and yet there is still mouse lag because v-sync must be forced on in this game, or else the game will break with vsync disabled. Awesome design decision, bethesda.

Also, when I rebinded my keys so that F would be used for favorites, and not change view, this disables the function of the F key in the menus, even though the menu still says to press F to assign a favorite, it will not work because that function was linked to the change view function.

♥♥♥♥ty programing all around.

I will never buy another elder scrolls game unless you guys stop doing such a sloppy job on your PC ports.

TES V was one of the most popular games upon release, and it still is. The game has also been released for over two years, yet these game breaking bugs are still present? Why can't you devs fix this stuff?

If you want to complain about minor preference based "bugs" then you aren't going to be well recieved. And really no one cares about anyone's oppinion, everybody has their oppinion and preference and that is the only thing that matters.

I still don't understand why anyone would even bother saying "I will never buy another [blank] game again" Because no else cares. And quite honestly I doubt the Devs care either. The Loss of your sale isn't going to stop them from drowning in the money made from the purchases of others.

No one can deny the numerous bugs in all of Bethesda's games but the community does a pretty good job sorting through and fixing most of them without the devs help.

Because they got paid. Now they don't, so they have abandoned the game and moved to other projects.

I admit that having Unofficial Patches around is not a valid excuse for the amount of original bugs in the game, but at least we have those to help us out.

I personally hail from Simcity 4 communities and have lived with huge amount of bugs for over 10 years (fanatic, but currently taking a break from my insanity).

After community have ironed most annoying ones out, those closed inside the EXE-file - and thus not touched - will became features of the game. You get used to them.

I tend to agree. Making Skyrim ( or any other Elder Scrolls game ) enjoyable involves a LOT of work and patience. Tons of mods, patches and .ini - tweaks. Poor memory management ( vram or ram ) and a frail scripting language doesn't help either. For this reason I've waited 2 years to buy the game on a steam sale. And let's not talk about the stupidly high ratings on release, especially for the console versions...

However, once you've got everything working and thx to a great modding community this game can be absolutely amazing!

No credits to Bethesda for poor optimization and a lackluster effort though :/

I'm new to Skyrim despite having over 400 hrs in game. I have invested over the last few months many hrs in playing and found the buggs in this game sometimes more than I can handle. The biggest are rare items vanishing in my "safe" home.
I can come back and see that the weapons I once had and a huge amount of weapons gone from chests that I set aside for followers in latter gameplay.
I have to keep going back to old saves and sometimes a few levels to find my items and therefore I do not progress in level.

This made me uninstall all mods and then yesterday I uninstalled Skyrim. I will need to decide if I will be cheating all the way throught with console commands or will I just deal with loosing my gear and weapons when I logout.

Despite having homes where you can store items. This seems like the place where i loose items. if I had to carry everything I own it would come to over 30.000 Carryweight. I may carry everything and ignore all my chest and homes and only see a home as a place for children and wife.

I will loose items and not progress in level if using my home.

And yet, neither of the things you mention are *bugs*.

Sounds like your PC just sucks, and/or you're new to the ES series.

PC is fine, I bought Oblivion the day it came out, and have played Morrowind before that.

Bethesda just makes terribly buggy games.
SpeedFreak Mar 14 @ 3:11pm
Well I had never input lag whatsoever ... wild guess wireless mouse and keyboard? as for the other bugs well have found a few however I know far buggier game then skyrim .... Simcity 2013 anyone?
Raptorpocalypse Mar 14 @ 3:12pm
mods fix a lot of the bugs in Skyrim.
GhostMotleyX Mar 14 @ 3:17pm
If you are having bugs in Skyrim backup you save game, delete your Skyrim folder, verify the game cache and click launch. This has fixed every bug I have had in Skyrim, esbern, characters not loading etc... etc...
