Skyrim without dragons
Well, I seem to have a wondeful little bug, so I have no dragons spawning excpect from the main quest ones. I have had no random encounters, and all dragon lairs are either empty or have something like conjurers. I dont have any idea what causes this, and I'd love some answers. I have pretty many mods, but I have removed all that I thought would have anything to do with this, yet still there are no dragons. Does anyone have the same problem? Its getting really dull when I cant upgrade my shouts, or even complete the Dragonborn main quest.

The only thing (that I know off) that prevents dragons from spawning is if you never talk to the Jarl in Whiterun after escaping Helgen. But once you defeat that first dragon and get Fus they should start to spawn.
And from what I understand, is that you already have done that so, that's strange indeed, never heard of that.
What mods that potentially could involve dragons are you using? Have you checked their respective page to see how old it is and comments sections to see if other people have experienced similar problems and perhaps found a solution.

maybe the mainquest trigger that enabled dragons bugged out.

Skyrim is actually dragonless during "before the storm" until you give the dragon stone.

I am wishing I had this bug.

I have done the quest where you kill the dragon at the watch tower, I always do it at start so I get dragons. I have gone through most of my mods and they shouldnt do anything about dragons, and I deleted everything that do something to random encounters. Now I have stuff like armor, spell and quest mods, some general little aditions and fixes and the unofficial patches.

My first 120 hours of Skyrim were without Dragons too. When I came to Whiterun the first time I meet this Sam Guevenne guy in the Bannered Mare Inn and ended up after a "Hangover like tour" in Markarth. So I never meet the Jarl of Whiterun or started the main quest.
I was really wondering whats up with these strange worldwalls and the bandits and undeads guarding them.
After doing a lot of questing around Markath and Solitude I finally came back to Whiterun to meet the Jarl and suddenly I had a completely new game. I guess that's how a 12y old boy must feel when he suddenly finds out there is more to this thing then you thought your whole life.

On an other note. Have you checked your load order with Boss and made sure with the Skyrim launcher that all files are also activated?
