Omfg What is this FREEZE?!?
OKAY- Skyrim is being an ♥♥♥ to me AGAIN and will be running smoothly for a few moments then it will freeze in place. After a few minutes it goes back to running smoothly and then once again it freezes! Not only that but it also seems I cannot complete any quest due to the fact it wont allow me to speak to any of the NPCs. NOT ONLY THAT but the game crashes out to my desktop about 30 minutes in game play. I can't express how sick of these problems I am. :( I have even tried downloading Nexus patches for the DLCs and Skyrim. I'm not sure what there is left for me to do if anyone can help please reply.

sounds to me like your graphics might getting hot. are you on a laptop or desktop? how old is it? Do you know what your specs are? Does your system meet the minimum or better requirements to run the game? Do you know what your temps are? small free program called Speccy you can down load from filehippo.com. monitors all your temps, tells you what version of windows you have and the key code if you ever need it, also tells you your hardware; cpu, ram, motherboard, etc. If you are on a laptop, not much you can do about heat. there are coolers specifically for laptops and may help. Desktop? coolers for that too, but you may not want to install one internally, if you've never done it before. if your system is 5 years old or more, you may want to consider a new one.

DOes have changing texture quality an influence? Sounds like a tiny bit your GPU can't handle it/or the GPU Ram is too small.

I have noticed my cooling fan for my laptop seems to be constantly turning on every few seconds even when my laptop isnt even hot at all BUt only when I'm in the game.
I do also have a free texture download I downloaded from the Steam shop (Not workshop), and I am wondering if my system can't handle it. In not exactly sure how to uninstall it either. (It is listed in with my DLCs I have downloaded from the Steam Store)

I had that same problem with it freezing for a few second's solved it by going back to nvidia 320.49 driver...334.89 seems to cause it for me anyway.
so if u have nvidia try it might work for you.

You could try updating your driver, but make sure whether you have nvidia or ati/amd. they are not interchangeable. sometimes a reboot clears things up. laptops are hard to keep cool. your fan should come on to cool things down, yet that is also the problem.

dual video cards (if you have try using only 1), video card drivers, and also too many mods (try turning off some of the larger file size mods that you could do without) are all posible reasons. But the fact that your fan turns on every few seconds sounds like the real issue. If you mean that it turns on than off than back on again you should get it serviced or open it up and check the fans, make sure dust or pet hair or whatever isn't all up in the fans.
