Skyrim Players Support Thread (Formerly "I need help :c"
Hello everyone!

So, i just recently picked up The Elder Scrolls Anthology from a local store, having played the other games in the series before i thought it would be a nice add for my collection, but now i have a slight problem.

I'm so obsessed with this game it took me five hours just to stop playing it, can anyone else relate to this?
This is the first time i've started playing this game and i've played it for over 60 hours during the last 4 days, i played about 14 hours today and i could have still done more but i had to force myself to stop since it was getting out of hand!

I feel like i was 15 again and Diablo II was popular, this is ridiculous, how can a single player game from 21st century be this addicting, christ...

So, yeah, just a small rant on how addicting the game can be, of course it's not a bad thing but, man.

You are not alone in this! Just wait till you start having Skyrim dreams...

Yup, I know the feeling.

It's ok though, some people have 1,000+ hours invested into Skyrim [like myself, 500+ playing, ~500 learning/doing mods].

I'm not there yet, and i hope that i wont!

Back when i originally played Dark Souls, i think it was the day 3 playing, i was so obsessed i thought about what i was gonna do next in the game and couldn't sleep, was the best sleepless night in my life though. (And no, i'm not a virgin but Dark Souls was just, hrr.)

It's quite addictive. I remember a while back, when my wife was away for the weekend, and I racked up about 30+ hours! It had to be around when Football ended, and Baseball hadn't started yet. It's certainly not hard to get immersed in this game.

656 hours, and counting.

Kiss your wife good-bye, open the front door so the kids and pets can forage for food on their own and accept the fact that you will not have a life for the next little while.

Seems like it, also mfw i realize that i actually have Morrowind & Oblivion GOTY's to go for after this, is it true that Morrowind base game is even larger in scope and content than Skyrim with all the add-ons? (Just something i heard from a friend)

its crack brother i quit eq for morrowind

i did the same had base skyrim played 130hrs and most of the main quests then bought anthology because it was cheaper than buying dlc's. now im lvl44 in skyrim doing dragonborn dlc at lvl44, but made mistake of starting oblivion and morrowind, lvl4 in oblivion and playing that more than skyrim and 3 hrs into morrowind, its addictive

On more than one occasion I've started playing in the late afternoon and the next thing I know I looked out the window and noticed the sun was coming up.

Friends: We're going to the bar
Me: That's nice....
Friends: Aren't you coming?
Me: No, I'm busy chasing butterflies at the moment... Not the blue ones, they kind of suck, the monarchs...
Friends: You're playing Skyrim again?
Me: No, I haven't stopped playing...
Friends: But you started playing yesterday...
