Game breaking glitch.

I've googled this and found to solution. Whenever I enter winterhold gaurds try and arrest me. No matter what option I choose (pay bounty, go jail, fight etc.) the game then crashes. At first I thought it was because of all the mods I use (mostly graphical enhancements) so I disabled all of them yet the problem still occurs. Please help me.

Try clearing your bounty using the console:

player.paycrimegold 0 0 <winterhold crime faction i.d.>

if that fails, your game is bugged

Did that, guess I'm screwed
