Yes, use Smithing. Get Smithing to 100, with appropriate perks, and you can make a decent bow. Not overpowered and godlike, but good enough for all your archery needs.

Here are three bows you can find. There are others but I don't think you have progressed far enough to get them.

Angi’s Bow
Location: Angi’s Camp, Falkreath
Complete all of Angi’s archery lessons at Angi’s Camp south of Falkreath. She will give you the bow once you’re done.

Bow Of The Hunt
Location: Clearspring Tarn, The Rift
Inside the cave, sat on top of the altar at the end of the area. The cave can be found in the central north of the area, near the border to Eastmarch.

Froki’s Bow
Location: Graywinter Watch, Whiterun
Towards the back of the cave is a tent. Look for the barrel nearby, the bow is at the top. The area is east of Whiterun, bear the main river flowing through the area.

Try traveling North of Rorikstead until you reach a bandit camp on the river. I found a Nordic bow there that was decent.

zephyr from the Dawnguard DLC is my go to bow if I don't want to smith, or a bound bow. If I want to smith, it's Daedric or Dragonbone. Black bow of fate is also great.

I'm fond of Auriel's bow, but that's kinda endgame-ish. The Zephyr is also nice. I actually modded my own bow, using the logic that I am DragonBorn, Listener of the Dark Brotherhood. Why wouldn't I have a custom bow?
I took an Ebony bow, since I really like the look of that bow, gave it Zephyr's draw speed enchantment, and boosted the damage to a Dragonbone bow. One version I gave stagger, another I gave fire, and another I gave soul trap. But that's just me. I like having fire damage since it seems to be the most versatile of magickal damage. Without the magick damage, it's still a pretty effective bow.

How about a Bound Bow from the Conjuration school of magic?
I retextured a Daedric Bow and changed it in Creaton Kit.

If that takes your fancy? You can make your game however you want to once you learn how to mod it, just a lil' bit hehe :P

Just be aware that once you go CK, there's no going back...huehuehue

If you´re going stealth I can also recomend upgrading some of your sneak skills (perhaps you're already doing that). There's one perk there which allows you to do x3 bow damage while sneaking. Pretty good I think. Come to think of it, perhaps you will have to sneak some more to be able to get that perk...

Hmm, just an after answer your OP question; How can I get a good Bow without alchemy or enchanting?

Answer: Get your smithing up to a high level, then craft your Bow, and temper it. To not use enchanting is a downside really, because you can make it into a Fire Bow. Fire will deal extra damage etc.

So...the only other way is to improve your Smithing. The higher your Smithing Skill, the higher your weapon's damage, and value. Also, the higher you can improve the weapon by tempering (at the grinding wheel) (fine > epic > legendary etc). In the Smithing tree you will notice Arcane Enchanter skill. This, as you may or may not be aware, allows you to improve items that are enchanted. By unlocking the skills in the Smithing tree, you increase your improvement levels with equipment at the forge.

Bound Bow, you can find the spell book in Fort Amol. Same damage as daedric, infinine arrows too.

start the dawn guard chain (on dawn guard side), get the cross bow, recruit that expert on dwarven ruins to join the dawnguard, do her various quests and she will teach you smithing improvements to the cross bow.

You will want to search artound the dawn guard fort for steel bolts and also run a few dungeons for dwarven bolts.

I recomend you do some alchemy as things like frenzy poison are awesome fun with a bow and sneak and anti magika poisons will make life easier vs mage type bosses - vampire lords / dragon priests etc..
