Also is there a console command i can raise a merchants cold they have to barter with??

I used to make trips thorugh Whiterun, starting with Adrianne Avenicci, then to Warmaidens, then to Belethor's General Goods.
If you're using a console command: open the console and click on the npc with your mouse, then type "additem 000000f xxx" xxx=amount of gold

There's a mod called "rich merchants" you can add. Gives all merchants 10k gold except for the khajits caravaneers. It's on Nexus but idk if it's on the workshop.

Adrianne has the same inventory/money as her husband/boyfriend inside Warmaiden's, doesn't she? I generally do the console code, although if you sell, save, punch them in the face and reload, that resets their cash due to a glitch. Still, if you'be been making expensive stuff to level crafting or whatever, that gets tedious/doesn't necessarily mean they'll be able to afford even one item, so I usually just console it in, assuming I'm not doing things legitimately. If you have enough speech perks you can invest in a given merchant so they'll always have a bit more than their usual money, but it's not much more, and only applies to that one person.

You know, it's so easy to make yourself a merchant with creation kit, i'm surprised more of you don't do it.

"Your Market Stall" is a fun way to sell your stuff. I don't always sit there myself. One of my followerst handles the stall, while I am busy elswhere. Because you are selling your stuff out at merchant prices, profit is much bigger than usual. Mod requires some patience, but is quite rewarding.

I do not understand the point of doing that. New merchants and profit options open during the game. Taking shortcuts just makes the game extremely boring and both Speech and trade option useless. If you start creating super rich merchants, then why not just dumb your gear and use console to give you all the money you need?

Who said anything about super rich merchants, please don't misquote me, besides you come across like it's ok to use the mods others make, but not to make and use your own. I don't understand that at all, anyway not looking for a flame war, so i'll just exit quietly.. ;)

There are Thieves guild related quests you can do that will unlock 4000 gold fences[www.uesp.net] in most of the cities.

Heh. I guess I did misquote you. Sorry about that.
And don't worry. I am not someone arranging flame wars.

There is a mod, "Merchants in Inns" and "Merchants in Inns, Dragonborn." As the name implies it adds a merchant couple, husband and wife so you can use your Alure perk, to all the Inns including Solstheim. The merchants have more gold than others and the gold amount levels with your character.
