I'm pretty sure I missed a lot of things but that's the simple gist of it.
Yah it's a hassle.

Yes any animation that requires FNIS it's necessary to activate FNIS every installation and uninstall.
Heh and I guess I stand corrected. Forgot about the BSA file extensions my bad.
And I strangely forgot I use this mod as well to trigger the animations I made in the past =='

This also has animations from sweeping floors, clapping, to even all the kill cams. And other effects and does not need FNIS to be installed whatsoever.
Also Puppeteer master for your other machinima needs.

Again no FNIS needed.
Now if you CTD but still want to use the mods then there is a way.
I know what I say might not make sense but bear with me.
The first way is to type "coc qusmoke" in the console at the main menu. This will take you to the test room from there load your latest save and chances are you can load it ctd free.
The second way is to load a save that is indoors there's a 50% chance a save indoors will not cause a ctd and loud to your latest save from there.
Now why does it cause ctd you ask. The real gist of it is because Skyrim handles memory like a true blue console port.
