Your favorite way to play Skyrim!
I am just curious what everyone loves to do?

Me personally, I love being an assasin, high sneak archery and daggers. I love the stealth method and being able to 1 shot any guard! I have always loved to play that way, was curious how u all play!

Let me know thanks everyone!

If you like archery, download the sniper bow pack and turn off that dumb crosshair. You'll thank me later.

Warrior which runs screaming into the enemy.

Because in skyrim, you only live an unlimited amount of times.

Fighter/Mage has long been my favorite playstyle, and not just in Elder Scrolls, but RPG's in general. Destruction magic in Skyrim is kind of meh, though. My current character is an Archer/Conjurer. When not using a bow or casting spells, I tend to dual wield, unless I need Spellbreaker or some other shield to reduce spell/breath weapon damage.

I like playing as battlemages utilizing high power destruction magic and one handed axes or swords. I meander from town to town, village to village and do quests like a hedge knight. This involves survival mods of course. Gotta stay warm and fed!

Play style a Nord that charges with heavy armor and 1 - or two handed weapons into battle and for completion I also do some mage stuff however I hate sneak, etc so I avoid the thief guild and as for the DBH .... I just murder them

I've played a lot of builds, but this current one, probably the last one before I retire Skyrim, trumps them all. Shield mage. Shield in one hand. Spell, usually destruction, in the other. No other weapons except a bow and only when on horseback, because I can't use spells on horseback (Thanks Bethesda for hating mages who like to ride horses). It's been a challenge because when off the horse, there is NO fallback weapon, only Khajiit claws. Yep, a Khajiit. No levels into magicka, only equipment boosts my magicka pool. With destruction cost reduction and magicka regen equipment, I'm able to spam novice & apprentice level destruction. With augmented perks, this takes most things down, though never in one shot. There are some pretty epic battles to be had.

Perks are put in Destruction, Heavy armor, Block, Smithing, archery, and restoration, with alteration late in the game for magic resistance and atronach. Only stamina and health are leveled. Lol, this is my only build that has joined both Companions AND the College of Winterhold. I do have a few mods that make some Vanilla artifacts more powerful and a mod that tweaks destruction a bit. It has been great not relying on enchanting or alchemy. For smithing, I only use and improve the equipment that I find or make arrows and building materials for my house at Hjaalmarch. At level 27 now, and that's with a mod that SLOWS down leveling. I took advantage of training, which I've not typically done.

This has been my favorite build. I'd love for him to do the DB and the TG with just those skills. Shield-bashing the final DB target to death would be awesome, and I have a theory that you can get through the TG without actually stealing anything or even doing much sneaking around.

Sorry for the length, but you asked, so I answered.

Well, at 1775 hours, I've certainly gotten my money's worth out of the game and then some! Unfortunately, I have like 60 other games that I'd love to play, including some of the industry's best, but right now, Skyrim is so dominant that I can't even start one of those games without heading back to Skyrim. I feel I haven't quite done all that there is to do yet in the game. so it prevents me from completing the other ones. I'm still discovering new content, believe it or not. I want to do the "I did (almost) everything in one playthrough". Never did that, always focused instead on specific guilds cause I would get bored with the traditional archtype builds that I would typically play, so limiting the quests was best. This ones a mixed one, so not bored at all. I'm also testing mods for a sort of "final collection", a collection that I'll use if I ever decide to go back and play again and that'll be published along with this current build. I encourage people to try the build. It's a hoot especially since the Khajiit only has the archery skill. The rest makes him a fish out of water. Or a cat without milk?

I agree with you. I'd like to give Morrowind and Oblivion a real shot as I have both games and have started both, but sadly I am awful with keyboard and mouse, and while there is mapping for my F310 logitech, I think I want to wait for Steam's controller to come out later this year. That was quite the runon sentence.

you sir, are crazy! haha and i agree, i use my 360 controller for everthing, just love the way it feels. The only other RPG I believe that is kinda hard core is two worlds, which is bleh.... idk.. and then dragon origins i heard is different but quite big.
