Creation Kit Building Terrain Problem...
Alright... here is the problem.. Im building some island but it's f***kin impossible with this dumb bug. The Edit Radius is never showing up I have to move around with the cam a lot to get it to show up and in some places it will not even let me rase up and lower the terrain? What is going on here?

Yeah the controls take a bit getting used to, you can build bigger than that you just gotta zoom out and move around a lot then zoom in ect ect ect. I can't give any other advice, but i have built bigger land masses myself, just for fun..And don't forget some stuff is left click some is right click, you'll get there, it's just practice..Oh yeah try a smaller brush aswell that can help..

I am use to the controls its just the edit radius is not showing up even on the terrain I pulled up at times.. Changing the size does nothing, like I can build miles away from my island but nowhere around it..

Have you set fixed dimensions or anything like that in the properties for your world. Also is it a new world or did you duplicate one and clear it.

That don't make any sense then, you should be able to scroll the render window and raise as much land as you need. I've just had a quick mess around lots of cells no problems.

I know it does not make much sense to me either, just all the time it stops working like if im raising something then move the camera a little it will stop working...

By default CK loads 5x5 cells. You can change these settings in SkyrimEditor.ini ( its inside your game folder )

Open it up and look for uGridsToLoad , it was probably set at 5 as a default.
You can now change it to the higher value , depending on your PC I suggest 5-15 . If you have a better rig then you can try higher but 9/11 is the most stable setting.

And yes Creation Kit will only accept odd number so 6/8/10/12 won't work so try 7/9/11/13/15/ etc.

The only time i have problems like you describe, are when i'm trying to edit to close to the edge of the render window, in which case i zoom out or scroll the land over or down ect ect, or if i'm not in top down view.
