if you use mod remove them and try to find the one that cause the problem by reading mod and test
try starting the game with all mods turned off. if that doesn't work try reinstalling skyrim
Mostly, the problem arises (as is being hinted at by the above posters) due to issues with mods conflicting with one another.

Perhaps you will benefit from looking up in youtube:

''Beginner's guide to modding Skyrim'' by GOPHER.

This details hints and tips you will benefit from as I am pretty sure that you have some messy load order issue going on there, resulting in crashes...

There are 8 episodes that cover various issues and modding suggestions. Have a look.

(You will benefit from using a mod tool, which is a mod itself, called ''BOSS'' (better Oblivion Sorting software/system).

BOSS helps to flag up mods that are not in the correct order in your mod loading list and tries to best sort them. I think you should learn a bit more about modding.

Best of luck!

It is a common problem, which create a lot of negative feelings for the one involved, but mostly it is an direct error due to faulty uninstall of a mod.

A mod that contain no script is easy to delete or remove.

A mod that contain script M U S T be unistalled the way the author tells, if not, scrit might still be present, and point the game to items that are no longer there, and CTD is the only way out.

Always be careful with what mods you install.....read everything before you install....read description on how to uninstall before you do that....only people who understand the way of modding can do this by their own head...we (me included) need to follow instructions!
This may not work for you but it worked for me:
I had installed a mod pack (the name escapes me) but included two town mods called Laintar Dale and Oakwood. I have the Hearthfire downloadable content pack and if you know these two mods you will know they come with two versions: the Hearthfire version and the Normal version. As I have Hearthfire, I want the Hearthfire one. I unsubscribed from the Normal version of the mod but it did not uninstall it (which I thought it did). I went back into my folder and found the .bsa and .esp files and deleted them manually and that worked. I can now play Skyrim normally.

In short:
1. Ensure all mods you have unsubscribed to are gone
2. Ensure all mods which require DLC that you don't have are gone
3. Ensure all mods have no duplicate files

Hope this works for you! (:
I think OP won't understand that...

My advice is to do some research into modding (like I linked but didn't seem to get much response from OP).

The answers he is looking for lies in his own research....

Mod files that contain scripts can be found in:

START: My Computer \ Program Files \ Steam \ Steam apps \ common \ Skyrim \ DATA.

The DATA folder contains your installed mod files. To ensure deletion, checking here is advised...

If you are trying to re play a save game that no longer has the mods it requires to run, you are bound to get crashes....Some mods will cause a mere warning about missing content, others will CTD (as Rhuto explains).

Simple understanding of what you are doing and correct following of mod authors' instructions, and also a little research into modding (my link earlier) will clearly go a loooooooong way here....

12 GAUGE will solve your problem
You do not need to uninstall your game!

Depending on where you got your mod, if you downloaded it from steam, see if there is a uninstall requirement, such as dismissing your followers, or removing a item from your inventories. Then all you have to do is unsubscribed from that mod. If you are using the nexus mod manager, it's the same thing, make sure the mod has no uninstall requirements, the nexus mod manager will then safely uninstall it.

If absolutely nothing works, properly uninstall any mods if you can. Then just delete the mod folder, texture folder, and mash folder. Then restart your game.

When you install mods install them one that at a time, make sure each one works before installing the next. Use a program called BOSS, that will make sure the mods are in the proper order and do not interfere with each other. You can find that program on nexus. But do not use the nexus mod installer to install it. It has its own .exe
