Companions questline question (not a glitch question)

I want to do the rest of the Companions questline, however the guy says that I have to collect a witch's head and use to cure my lycanthropy to complete it. I've heard you can't contract werewolfitis (sorry, forgot the name LOL) again if you cure, but I don't want vampirism because everyone will just attack me if I let it get out of hand. Basically, before I go through with this, is there a way to complete the quest and keep my lycanthropy?

Isn't there a companions quest to cure yourself, i thought there was. It was after you did the Kodlak thing with the witches head.

This quest is about curing Kodlak not you.After you finish whole quest line,then you will have option to cure 2 more members and yourself but you dont have to do it.

If you collect all the witches heads, you will have a head for your own Lycan cure after you cure their leader. That's if you wish to cure your lycanthropy. Should still have two heads on hand somewhere if math serves me right. The best opportunity to cure yourself is shortly after curing Kodlak. But I imagine if you still have access to the chamber, you could probably go there any other time with one of the heads and still cure yourself.
The choice is yours to make whether or not you wish to keep Lycanthropy.
Still, even if you become infected with vampirism and let yourself become a full blood vampire, you can still get that cured.
