A player home or quest idea
I have mention this in the disscussion, but have yet to see someone create a mod for this even though several said they were going to give it a try.
I have seen several large hollowed out fallen trees with opening big enough to enter if croutched all around Skyrim. Only thing is you can't actally climb in them. I thought it would make a great entrance for a players home.
Another thought would be maybe an entrance to a player made quest.

Hi! I've seen a lot of those trees. Some of them are linked to "Treasure Maps" that you get as random loot. The series of maps are numbered, so that you can collect them all. The first one, leads you to a dead tree trunk near Riverwood, that will have a treasure chest in it eventually. But only once you have the map in your inventory. Otherwise it won't spawn. Once it is spawned, then you can duck inside the tree to not only harvest plants, but to get at the treasure chest. Thus far, I've only made it as far as 3 maps. But anyway, the point is, maybe that's what is preventing modders from making homes out of them. I haven't looked up yet, how many maps there are to collect, because not knowing is part of the fun. (Unless I did and forgot I did.) So I don't know how many logs get used for these treasure map hunts. I hope that helps.
