How people have a playtime over 9k hours?

Not me. I'm probably around 3k by this point. I have no idea how you get 9k unless that is just about all you do in life.

I have missing hours. I am over 1k myself. I had my hours go reverse a few months back.

If you had bought it on the day of release and played nearly eleven hours a day every single day without fail, then you, too, could have that many hours. I would guess that probably people leave their machine on with Skyrim running while doing other stuff, or there is some way to fake it.

Nah, I bought it back in august during a steam sale, according to Steam I'm at 1239 hours now. I don't play it all day just a few hours each day, certainly not 11 hours and I don't leave it running unattended thats just a waste of money and besides, the graphics card fan noise would drive me nuts. Why would I want to fake it? Its not a competiton.

Well, quite, I was being a little facetious ;) I've been playing since December and am at... a lot of hours. But I'm pretty much housebound at the moment, in chronic pain but painkillers don't work, so it serves as a useful distraction. Still nowhere near 11 hours a day, mind you! (I did use sums to get the eleven hours thing, but they may well have been wonky sums due to brainfog associated with the pain and such).

Hi! I've nodded off only find to keyboard imprints on my forehead. I hate when that happens. But it wasn't always during a gaming session, if at all. I think most of the time, it was while waiting for some task to complete, like downloads, disc scans, et al. I've also done it though, while writing. Sometimes in forums. So far, not this one though.
