More Open World games like Skyrim?
Do any of you know of games on PC that are similiar to Skyrim in terms of having an open world, and some level of character customization, and are not one of these games listed here?:
-Other Elder Scrolls games
-Fallout series
-Witcher Series
-Kingdoms of Amalur
-Saints Row series
-GTA series
-Dead Island
-Far Cry series
-Bioware games
-Dark Souls/Demon's Souls
Sorry about that list, it's just when I google "games like skyrim" I just get those same games listed on fifty different sites. I figured there had to be a couple of hidden gems out there that weren't these games.

s.t.a.l.k.e.r call of pripyat is pretty good
How about the Gothic series, the first two were better than the third although it had an epic soundtrack. You may want to check out 'The Memory of Eldurim', I haven't tried it yet but it could be interesting.

Borderlands 2 is kinda open world, though not nearly to the extent of the games you mentioned, as it is fairly linear (similar to KoA quests/world).
never played it, but two worlds 1 & 2 are open world.
Sacred 2, Sleeping Dogs, Krater, and Divinity II are open world and so is Freelancer, I War 2, and any of the X games if you want to go into Open universe

I agree that S.T.A.L.K.E.R is a great, similar style game (except in the form of a survival/horror FPS) as well as sleeping dogs or just cause 2
World of Warcraft or are we not counting Subsciption based games
I played the first Stalker, but got a bad ending because I made too much money. Annoyed the crap out of me. Can someone tell me more about the Gothic series?
The Gothic series takes place in a medieval fantasy world, in which humans are losing the war against the orcs. Enter your character, you need to fix things...lol!
Ha, that one seems promising, I know I need the community patch, but after that is it pretty solid?
I dunno if you'd count "Rage" at open world. I haven't played it very much as it seems to just direct you to go here, then there, and back again.... but again, I haven't played very far into it before I kinda stopped playing and maybe it allows you to do more with more freedom after a bit.

Also, someone else mentioned it, but Just Cause 2 is pretty fun and the map you play on is completely massive.... much larger than Skyrim's map.

^ this only shows Oblivion, but Oblivion is known to be larger than Skyrim, so....

There is also Rust, which is in Alpha right now, but fun as hell if you like a challenge. It's currently my Primary game I play, with Skyrim being secondary, Just Cause 2 3rd and Far Cry 3, 4th

GTA IV is up there too.

I have Fallout New Vegas, but found it boring and was a bit disappointed.
If your PC can handle it and you like the isometric view games (top down Diablo style), look into Sacred II.

ETA: Gropax beat me to it.

Just Cause 2 is a huge open world with lots of ludicrous fun, but there's no character progression to speak of.
Gothic 3 with the unofficial patch that cranks up the graphics. It's almost as if Skyrim was ripped off from this game.
divinity 2 was surprisingly enjoyable
i picked it up from a humble bundle
