Worth it?
Well i´ve heard a lot of positive comments on this subject and i thought about getting this game after all. I´ve played some of the TES games such as Morrowind but i didnt really get on with it
;( as because of its horrid combat system and shallow start. (REALLY please keep the hate away from this one Morrowind fanboys, im just trying to see how TES has improved)
And well in YOUR opinion is it good? and please give a honest feedback.
(such as pros and cons)

Oblivion= much better than Morrowind. Skyrim= Much better than Oblivion. That's my opinion. I've only played Morrowind a couple of hours because I didn't like the graphics, the combat system and the teeny, tiny Menu pictures of your equipment.
But I've saved around 500 times in Oblivion and Skyrim. I'll return with pros. and cons.

Oddly enough I didn't much care for Morrowind either. Reading thousands of lines of tiny script and polygon models ugh. No thanks. I don't care how epic the story was supposed to be.

I played through all the DLCs main questlines(Dawnguard for the Dawnguard DLC not a vampire)and this has even more of a great story line, graphics, etc.Theres millions of mods out there and my favorite Console Cheats ^.^.In the Hearthfire DLC you get to relax in Skyrim and build so if you want to go into Skyrim but sometimes have no violence the Hearthfire is good. The Dragonborn DLC is awesome and it even sprouted a follower mod that someone made called the Miraak follower mod who can defeat anything in a simple shout. So you should get it and most importantly on steam for PC.The mods are awesome

Skyrim is the best selling single player rpg of all times. This does not automatically mean quality, but if so many people felt in love with it it means for sure that gives a lot of immersion.

Expect streamlined gameplay, but ♥♥♥♥ing huge hand made world to explore.

I higly suggest you the PC version, becouse modding adds another dimension, and also becouse, being a buggy game, you can solve issues with codes (stuck quests and so on might happen).

Somebody else said that if you buy Skyrim for XboX you buy a beautifull game, if you buy it for PC you get an entire world to toy with.

P.S. if you end up being addicted to skyrim you will find yourself playing it for several hundred hours, and ultimately this means that you will save a lot on money becouse you won't buy other games for long! Mind that there are many mods that add several dozens gameplay hours and are 100% free.

P.P.S. They are making skywind, that is morrowind inserted into skyrim engine, with skyrim graphics and combat system, so when/if it wll release you will be able to play morrowind without the outdated combat system and with upgraded graphics.

P.P.P.S. Still waiting, go purchase Skyrim now!!!!!

Here's some of my own Skyrim Pros. and Cons. by a guy not very used to rpg:s. Well, maybe Pokémon.

Pros:
*Good graphics- The sorroundings, nature, sunsets, sunrises, characters looks pretty realistic and sometimes quite beautiful.
*Good storyline- If you choose to play as Nord, the story has quite an emotional and moral importance to you. Otherwise it's still good (I guess). Good main quests.
*Dragons- Were missing in Oblivion, but here they are. One of the funniest opponents one can fight.
*Good battle system.
*Fun Leveling up system- You get to choose which skills you want to perfect or make more effective by "unlocking perks".
*Lots of quests- Though many might be small ones.

Cons:
*Main story not that flexible- Still there are some decisions to make.
*Daedra missions not that flexible either- Either you do them or you just don't. Would be more interesting if you could choose an alternative quest that's "anti-working for the daedra."
*A bit too many: Go kill that guy missions- Still this is an action game.
*No quick way of changing weapons- At least I haven't discovered it.

Hmm seems like I almost only came up with story cons.

Skyrim is nowhere near the best RPG of all time, single player or not. It is, however, a very fun lite RPG that you can pour endless hours into and still enjoy. Yes, you should buy this game.

I've played a lot of games, both single player and multiplayer. I believe the combat animations in Skyrim to be one of the best I've ever seen. You won't be disappointed.
