CTD Problems

I can't get past the main menu whenever I have any of the 3 dlcs activated. I have looked all over for a fix, but cant seem to find one. The only way the game doesnt crash is if the only things activated are skyrim.esm and update.esm. Any help would be great.

okay will try those suggestions. and the load order is skyrim.esm update.esm dawnguard.esm hearthfire.esm and dragonborn.esm. but that doesnt seem to really matter becasue the game will not start with ANY of the 3 dlcs active, let alone all 3 at the same time

Set your load order like that and see if it loads.

Well, first verify your game cache. Sometimes that helps. At a minimum you'll get a message saying that one file failed to verifty - ignore it, you'll always get that message no matter what.

One other thing - do you have any *other* mods installed now?
Does it CTD when the menu pops up, or does it CTD *after* the menu pops up and you click on an option?

Okay sorry i havent replied. I went through and redownloaded all 3 dlcs AGAIN, then shut down my pc. on startup, it appears to be working fine. thanks for the help guys
