Where do apples come from in Skyrim?
Seriously has any one seen an apple tree in the game anywhere?

There is a mod that places apple trees behind the meadery in Whiterun. You can pick and eat them:) I forget the name of the mod though.

I don't think food items are useless at all. I have my character eat 3 meals a day. I also pack eating utensils and cooking gear; meaning that I have to pack realistically to be on the road. It's all about roleplaying.

They're imported from Hammerfell, then.
