You couldn't just pickpocket the food?

You are a rather bad thief?

Evil...no. you might win Nirn's dumbest thief though. You are killing someone for something you can litteraly pull out of the ground.

i rather enjoy planting my battleaxe into someones head over delicious goodies. i leave all the potions and i leave all the gold in place
"Hi I'm gonna kill you simply so i can steal your food since i'm too lazy to kill a deer or harvest my own food" that's like guys who get in arguments over who gets the girl and one kills the other is it really worth it? There is plenty of fish in the sea and plenty of food in Skyrim plus if your gonna steal something steal a horse or a really fancy sword or ring something that is actually worth having a bounty on your head, or losing your head!

Food Food Everywhere and NOT ENOUGH SALT TO COOK WITH!! lol

My biggest complaint with food, everything you cook requires SALT. lol

lol, i got like 3k salt ive raided the entire province, and stored it all in breezehome. gotta go find more
Use console command and get like 50 salt piles or however many you want remember it's not cheating if you don't stand to gain anything. food, is food and when your hungry your hungry so don't starve!

From the replies, I'm gonna say the answer to your question is a resounding no.

You really need to ask that question?

I'm mad you need a "clutter mod" to make forks items you can pick up. When I got to the Imperial City for the first time when I started playing Oblivion, I went to an inn and used the manipulate function on a fork. The innkeeper called for the guards, saying there was a madman on the loose. A guard came busting in and called me criminal scum and tried to arrest me because of the massive one gold bounty on my head. From that point on, I made it a point of honor to steal all the forks I could find.

This isn't Oblivion.

I wanted to keep stealing forks.
