Why do you want to reset the hours played to 0? It's like asking how to reset your age!

I dont think that is possible.

Good luck OP. Won't happen. Steam keeps tracks of your playtime.

What we really need is a way to just turn that crap off altogether.

I dont understand the issue with steam tracking your played time, is it self guilt that you want to hide from? Or perhaps hiding from your parents/girlfriend/wife how much time you waste on games? Seems quite hilarious to me!

Funny, I was thinking the same thing when I first saw this thread.

Don't want people to see it, make your account "Private"

Pretty sure its stored on the Steam servers...

i.e. not accessible by the player.

I know when I log into my other machine with its separate Skyrim install the hours played remains the same

Not sure you can reset it but if you move the complete skyrim folder from steam it will stop recording hours played, did it with fallout 3 because there was a mod that could only work if it was on my desktop.

It's something that can not be reset by the user. I have Steam set up on 4 computers, and each one has the same hours played.
