Skywind
Hay everyone, I just recently heard about the massive project of skywind and am very eager to try it out. I know it is not currently finished or anywhere near that, but I was wanting to ask those if you that have this mod, is it worth getting now or waiting until they complete more of the game. I ask this as I don't currently have morrowind not have I ever played it, I feel like this would be a cool first experience if they have pulled it of well. Thanks!

While i haven't tried it I am very eager to, just waiting for it to become mod freindly (if it does) when you consider they are making a version with Cyrodil and Skyrim: Skyblivion as well as Morrowblivion Morrowind and Oblivion it makes all the individual games pale in comparison in terms of size! I kinda wished someone made morrowind and Oblivion mods for skyrim and added a path or some other way to travel from one province to the other! So say for example I am a Nord from Bruma in Tamriel and I am in Skyrim but I miss Bruma all i have to do is go past falkreath and take pale pass and cross over into tamriel that would be so epic!!!

You'll be able to visit Bruma this spring, ARmodder. The Bruma mod which is part of the bigger project Cyrodiil: Seat of Sundered Kings will be released then. There are also teams working on other provinces, like High Rock. You can follow it on the Beyond Skyrim board.

Wait so I can be Playing skyrim then just take pale pass (loading will obviously be required) and stroll right on over to Bruma without even leaving the game!? OMG if they add quests and stuff then I may forget about playing Oblivion :D

You will certainly be able to go into the Jeralls and make your way to Bruma. I'm not too sure what the exact path will be to get there. They are definitely npc's and quests so there will lots to see and do there. It also has a beautiful soundtrack all its own. :)

I look forward to playing Skywind, hopefully it will be the Morrowind I always wanted. Quality combat and immersive visuals.. I'm still unsure on the voice acting, considering it's not being done in one studio project with one team then it will be inconsistant. Guess time will tell if that will make a big difference.

Ok don't say anymore I'm on the verge of having a seizure as I have wanted something like this since I started playing Oblivion back in 2009 of course it didn't help when Skyrim came out!

So no update on Skywind? I believe they are currently in the procss of making a second devalopment video, so that could shead some light. Believe its a fair way off yet though.
I wonder why no one make videos at youtube at skywind anymore these days? there is only few users. One reason is early alpha build is closed now and devs does videos lazy and testers do more or less. It is still on alpha build and i think stay that state still very long time and yes i have this mod and im pretty sure you wont want it since it crash often even it support some skyrim mods but not all. Mod share is stopped about 3-4 weeks ago since many players complaint naked characters and wont understand devs still making it so they shutdown alpha build to share i guess i guess it thanks for supporters partly? Also many quest is undone still script errors. They also still seeking voice actors. They did few good mods on skywind though but it is still so undone and seems it ready end of 2014. So i hearded but nothing is not sure.

Skywind is seperate from Beyond Skyrim.

Skywind is porting the Morrowind quests/items/landscape into the Skyrim game engine.

Beyond Skyrim is recreating the entirety of Tamriel in one major worldspace - Cyrodyl, Skyrim, High Rock, etc - though I don't know what, if anything, they're going to do as far as actual *questing* goes - they may leave that up to external modders. The BS Vvardenfell is the 'modern day' Vvardenfell after the volcanic eruption.

Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim take place at very different times

They just did a video at the end of last month - The link to it is on your Skyrim game page for feth's sake.
Ok thanks for info. Believe they make this mod done but it still takes some time.
It is my hope that they will follow through with this mod as well as the Skyblivion mod to it's completion I would gladly pay for a mod like this I always thought that bethesda should have created a complete playable map of Tamriel combining all the quests of Morrowind, Oblivion and skyrim as well as all the DLC content along with quests for High rock, elsweyr, and the other provinces and have it all in one 50+ GB game with the same level of graphics as Skyrim, or better I mean think of it many people have put 2000+ hours on Skyrim so imagine how much this game would have people would be averaging 5000 with some playing over 8000!!

Well they did come out with this small trailer sumwhat recently,

http://www.pcgamer.com/2014/01/23/skywind-trailer-introduces-the-skyrim-mods-most-savage-inhabitants/?ns_campaign=article-feed&ns_mchannel=ref&ns_source=steam&ns_linkname=0&ns_fee=0

Its looking pretty good to me, i feel bethesda should fund them as this could potentually bring them many more sales, expecially of their older games. like me i would have to purchace morrow wind to enjoy this mod, so its benificial to them...
