So, where do dragons fit in with the whole Aedra-Daedra bussines?
Yes.

Well, dragons are a form of Aedra. Remember what Alduin says when you first use Dragonrend on him...

"I am Alduin, firstborn of Akatosh! I cannot be slain here!"

I wanted to believe that Alduin was corrupted by a daedra into rebelling against the gods. However, Alduin's motive are never clearly explained. Esbern said he's there to devour the world, to end the world.

One thing is clear though. Alduin was probably responsible for creating the Dragon Cult and all the draugr waking up from their long slumber.

Idk, some of the books in the game say he just took the name as a joke, and that he was originally SENT to destroy the world but got power hungry and just conquered it instead

You guys really need to bookmark this site.

So Alduin is a creation of Akatosh that got greedy and forsake his role as destroyer of worlds to attempt to rule Mundus for himself, and did so at least twice.

Doesn't answer the question of this thread though!
and it doesn't say he was created by akatosh, says the dragons were created at the advent of time that's it

I suppose that typing "dragon" into the search function of the site didn't occur to you. Unsurprising. I shall do it for you.

And so there we have it. Dragons are biologically immortal, but neither aedric nor daedric. Alduin is different, being created directly by Akatosh. The other dragons, therefore are likely some of the greater "wanderers" that settled in the plane of Mundus sometime after the convention at the Adamantine Tower.

Dragons ARE the children of Aka, and are his creations.

Untrue. Only Alduin is stated to be his creation. Only Alduin's spirit is immortal.

Wrong. Aka created all dragons when time started. As Parth and Shalidor tell us.

I can only suggest you do some reading on the Dawn Era.

EDIT: Not in particular the section subtitled Ruin -- Worlds End. Alduin predates the inhabitants of this current world, dragons included.

I can only suggest to learn more about the ES series and don't go to a known inferior site for lore. Funny that your own link backs up what I say.

Reference edit.

There's no need to get prissy, folks.

You have proven nothing. All you have done is said that I was wrong while I cited lore. Should you provide some evidence to the contrary, I would be happy to listen.

Alduin is first born, Pathanaax second and so on

Unfortunately that is not what the lore says. However, you are free to believe what you like in your game.

First and foremost, don't go to the UESP for lore. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Go to the IL for lore.

Can you provide any information at Imperial Library that counters my assertion? If not, I think we are done here, yes?
