Follower Mod Bug

[Winter Hands]

I installed a (rather crappy) multiple follower mod, hired Inigo and Teldryn Sero, and went on my merry adventures. A few days later, I found the UFO on the nexus workshop, uninstalled my first mod (without dismissing my followers) and installed the UFO. Now that I've loaded my game, they both have returned to their respective homes and will not follow me. I have the dismiss option, but it changes nothing and when I "rehire" them they stay put. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both mods, trying <resetAI>, <enable/disable> console commands and <set playerfollowercount to 0> and none of them work. I cannot reload a prior save because I have multiple characters and 1 save file for each. Any suggestions?

i had the same issue when i switched from kuertee to AFT. what i had to do was redownload the mod i used before, load an old save where they were with me, dismiss my followers with it active, then switch to the new one and rehire them

My problem is that I don't have any old save files, I resave over one multiple times. Is there anyway to restore old saves?
