Does anyone know if the glitch in '' III Met By Moonlight'' was fixed by the 1.9 Skyrim update ( solved )

or by the Unoffical Skyrim patch, I just did the quest and didn't get both '' Hircines ring and Saviors hide.

you dont get both

kill him for "saviors hide"
spare him for "hircines ring"

I had patch 1.9 and was able to exploit the glitch without issue and obtain both artifacts. I don't, however, use the unofficial patch.

Can you still get the oblivion walker achievement if you just get 1 of the daedric artifacts from that quest or do you have to get both.

You get it if you get the ring, its just that there was an exploit to get both. There is now a fix, above, thar enabled you to get both.

If you dont' get both you have to make sure you get every single other daedric quest completed. Which is hard to do if you're roleplaying, just too many of those quest outcomes that count are pure evil. The snag for me is that after finishing the game I did the dark brotherhood line and now can do all the evil quests. Except that I already did one with the good ending (Vaermina's), but now with no dual rewards from this quest I can't complete it without going all the way back to level 10 or so.

you can give yourself the items you didn't get through console commands.

Quick test, and it appears to be the Unoffical Skyrim Patch that fixes the last of the glitch here, not the official 1.9 patch. T
