I'm getting random crashes. Please help!
Hello everyone, I'll keep this short and sweet.

Basically when I run vanilla Skyrim, the game works just fine.
When I run Skyrim with some mods, the game works just fine.
When I run Skyrim with all 12 of my mods, the game crashes directly to desktop when trying to save or fast travel or anything similar.

Now I've tried to pinpoint which mod am I using via the workshop here on Steam that is crashing my game directly to desktop by loading them all one at a time. However, when I found a mod that crashed my game to desktop, I turned off all other mods and ran that possible crashing mod soley and the game worked just fine then. I then tried loading my mods one at a time again in a different order and a different mod crashed my game making it very frustrating to see which mod or possibly mod order is messing everything up.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

It is more than likely it is your mod load order. Run BOSS: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6

I looked more into the mods I was using and it turns out Cartographer, Sounds of Skyrim, and Unread Books Glow were the problem. Uninstalled them and the game runs just fine. I installed other mods to make up for those 5 I had to get ride off.

SKSE version 1.7. Use it, love it. Will probably allow you to reinstall those mods.

I tried using it once and didn't like it that much since I had to launch the game via the SKSE launcher and not Skyrim from my game library itself.

Oh, how horrible. I feel for ya man, I really do. That's basically a violation of yer human rights right there.

Rename the SKSE loader .exe to TESV.exe and BAM! Problem solved.

And you need the 1.7 version to get the memory management fix - the older versions won't have it.
