What do you think of this screenshot.

My first serious screenshot.

What do I need to do to improve the texture quality and overall what do I need to improve it on?

Great, better then mine but great.

What armor are you wearing?

I am really sorry, i can't remember. I uninstalled it awhile ago, sorry. I know that it's a leather type armor. I'm sorry i can't provide any more information about it. It's a very fun armor to run around with your female characters though!

I bet, lol.

Sexy and protective, more fitted for thief, assassin, vampire characters. What this character happens to be!

Pretty good screens, man!

I'd say just make sure that the shot doesn't have a lot of empty space and make sure to lead the viewer like the one pic I have here:

It's close-up to avoid empty space with HUD off and a couple other tricks to make it look cool.

For a more open shot like yours, I'd just try to break it up with as much as possible, like in mine below with the high-detail stuff in the background negating empty space.

Also, maybe this vid can help you out a little to get some more good shots.

Thanks, I like your advice.

I have one question though, what's that in the right-hand corner of your second screenshot?
Pumba70 12 feb. 2014 a las 9:00
Yeah, I didn't notice that until I took it. I have SkyUI installed and my active effects are put in that corner. I actually have a mod to disable that always being there, but the effect in the corner is a timer for my conjured NPC. It's a modded NPC so idk if that's why it's there or not.

And np for the advice! :D

Texture quality is a simple fix as long as you have the rig to handle it. There are plenty of mods out there that drastically increase the resolution of nearly every single texture in the game.

Skyrim HD is good for environmental stuff and aMidianborn's stuff is fantastic for weapons and armor textures (I think he's only on the Nexus though).

Other than that you can try out different ENBs. Sometimes ENBs with a lot of bloom, contrast, and depth of field can hide standard quality textures and make them look nicer.

As far as the actual composition of the shot goes there's all kinds of tips & tricks guides out there. Keep basic principles of photography in mind as well.

Lastly if you're interested in taking shots of your characters you might want to find appropriate mods that add poses and idle stances.

Here are some of mine...

These two are composed for use as a desktop wallpaper

And some random shots
