Bethesda! Why did you allow this?
So I was playin' some Skyrims with ma homie girl, can't remember her name, and suddenly we were in a dangerous situation. What happened there, happened another time as well.
Another time, in the Markarth region, the two of us were once again caught in the middle of some danger. I got a bit injured so I withdrew some, to be able to fast heal back to full health. But my girl shieldberearer stayed in the heat.
I figurered I could keep the distance and shoot the guards with my bow, while she, acting really immortal fought them alone. It was dark.

I shot and I...my arrow... hit her. And she died... Why did Bethesda allow this to happen. Why can you kill your own shieldbearer? No one ells can. I think its dumb that you can do it by accident! Don't you agree?

I have four things to say to this:
1. Reload your most previous save
2. Aim better, if your gonna use a bow, better be experienced with it!
3. Get the highest rated follower mod on the workshop. It'll prevent this kind of thing.
4. Get used to realism, haha

What if you want or need to kill an npc but you can't because they made them all immortal because some players accidentaly kill their followers? Its about freedom? Including the freedom to make mistakes?

Well Calcifer. I see #1. Makes sense. Just that I want to play realistic. And not reload as fast as something bad happens.
#2 I aimed pretty well, I killed her ;) It was dark...I thought she were someone else.
#3 Yeah, perhaps. Thanks for the idea.
#4 I just disliked the idea that you´re the only one able to kill your companion :)

As I mentioned I think, the other NPC's should be able to kill followers as well then...

Though I agree with the mistake bit, as I didn't want to reload..

You're lucky you didn't get a Skyrim ban for TK/damage. Friendly fire ,indeed.

Your enemy's can kill their "conpanions" just like you. You'll just rarely ever see it. Example, i was in a corwded corridor with some draugar. The draugar archer shot at me, missed me and hit one of his friends in the head. It did some damage to that draugar and then he turned on his ally. See, it hardly ever happends because most of the time, the enemy are completely locked onto and rare for them to make mistakes as such.

Well, I have enough bans for killin' guards...

Ok, Calcifer that's fair enough. The NPC's can kill companions. I didn't know that, cause all enemies always go after you whan the comp. is really low on health.
DJ Xsafro 8. feb kl. 4:19pm
Well, aim higher then the knee. You'll have a better chance of hitting your target.
raptsaurus 8. feb kl. 4:20pm
OK.
But Calcifer. You mentioned a situation were NPC killed NPC. Can enemy NPC kill a companion of yours?
DJ Xsafro 8. feb kl. 4:23pm
Of course, if you can kill your conpanion, your enemy's can do also.
DJ Xsafro 8. feb kl. 4:23pm
Test it out sometime if you don't believe me, hehe.

I believe you make sense. But enemies always change targets when your follower is down (but not really dead) therefor I thought they couldn't kill your companions.

Will I get a new follower now when she's gone?
