Help Random Crashes
So for some reason skyrim with all the dlc keeps crashing on me for no reason, it worked for a while but then i went to falkreath and it went downhill, i get consistent 60 FPS, I have no mods running atm and it just keeps crashing. I am running it at ultra settings. And it is not overheating to my knowledge.
My Computer Specs are:
Processor: Intel I5 4670k
Graphics Card: Evga 2gb gtx 770 superclocked
Motherboard: Asus 1150 H87 pro
Hard Drive: 1TB seagate 7200rpm HDD
Power Supply: Corsair 500 Watts
Ram: Corsair vengence pro 8gb ddr3 1600mhz

reset your gpu to normal clocking. should help
Tall Morty Feb 7, 2014 @ 11:33am
I think that was just the name of the graphics card, i didn't superclock it myself

did you uninstall your mods and continued to play with the char?
Tall Morty Feb 7, 2014 @ 11:36am
No, i just recently downloaded it, never installed a mod

You might want to check Nvidia's GPU boost feature is disabled.. it dynamically adjusts clock speed (on-the-fly) over-clocking. Apparently, the GPU is hyped as designed for OC so the default settings might be very aggressive, fine for other games but not this particular one.

How would, i go about doing that?
Xmas Miku Feb 7, 2014 @ 12:59pm
right click desktop->nvidia control panel
that should be it. if not mage may help you with this

good job, fixing your problem yourself :D

Change of plan, that only fixed it temporarily, I was thinking that it is because i have a 32bit windows system for some reason and that only lets me use 4gb of ram? So i would have to upgrade to 64bit? cause ot doesn't crash on medium or lower settitngs

64 bit is always better than 32 bit but skyrim wont use more than 3.1 gba anyway. there is a fix for ths bug. google for it :D

I have this bug too!
The mods I have are fine because if I open it with or without mods or dlc it crashes when I save or die and stuff!
