Skyrim underscan issue
Hey guys, so ive been having a look around and essentially im getting underscan on skyrim. set game to 1920x1080 and get borders around the game. Normally the way to fix this is to slide the overscale and underscale switch in CCC (AMD cards). however, my overscan is set to 0% and i am still getting the issue..have just updated to beta drivers AMD 14.1

running 2 HD7970's in xfire.

I'd never heard of this before (probably because I use Nvidia cards), so I looked into it. Interesting "feature" AMD gives you guys.

I found one thing which might help you:

As far as I know, the only permanent solution is to open the Registry Editor and set

HKLM/System/ControlSet001/Control/Video/{91357F10-E8FC-41DF-AB9F-FDA3D0E8698A}/0000/TVEnableOverscan = 0

and

HKLM/System/ControlSet001/Control/Video/{91357F10-E8FC-41DF-AB9F-FDA3D0E8698A}/0000/DigitalHDTVDefaultUnderscan = 0.

There may be other folders than 0000, such as 0001 etc. I am not sure what those other folders mean, but I set the same values in them, assuming that they are for other connected monitors.

Using the underscale "switch" in CCC works for me (7950), problem with your TV?

Nah im not using it on a tv at all which is what i found very odd.. My screen is completely fine and no other game does this. Which is concerning even more. load it up in 1920x1080 and just get underscan issues like you would if you had the slider at 15% for underscan.
