Random CTD, checked BOSS, unsubbed unused mods.
I have the unofficial skyrim patches, for all the DLC's excluding the HD textures, coz i dont use them, but i still get CTD...

If i verify integrity, would that mess up the unofficial skyrim patches?

nope, it will only look for missing official files.

Remember that savegames contain information about player mods you use. If you don.t remove the mods the way the creator tell, you might get a corrupt savegame. This is very important if mods contain scripts....if the mod is removed, and the script stand..the CDT is almost sure to happen.

No. But you will get a message that one file failed to verify - you'll get this message everytime you verify so don't worry about it.

Random CTD's are going to happen - the unofficial patches greatly reduce their occurance but they won't stop them.

The typical cause is too much stuff loaded into memory. Assuming you haven't edited uGridsToLoad to a higher value then I would reccomend Skyrim Startup Memory Manager.

Recently someone (guy named Sheson) found out that one of the most common causes of craashes was that Skyrim allocates 2 256mb blocks of memory and tends to choke when htose are full and it needs more. So this makes the first block 512 mb and that damn neaar eliminates crashes altogether.

I am still getting the CTD... this time its pretty much after the loading screen, i have tried the sound quality tweak thingy people talk about... what Rhuto said... how can i know if a script still is active or in the game etc?

Since it is the savegame that control what is loaded..... Try an oldre save...or start a new game with as few mods as possible....always be restrective with what you put in...and be sure they don't do the same thing..or the oposite f each other...use BOSS to get loadorder right and information on possible conflicts.

okay, wait... im using the SKSE version, with SSME installed, no crash after start up.... could that be the way it works?
Rhuto 2014년 2월 4일 오전 2시 21분
If you are as high as that...then it seems you have found what works for you....always make a savegame at certain points of your playthrough, so if you start to get problems due to a new setup, or developing of error, you will have something to go back to instead of starting from start.

But as mentioned from Inc, random crashes will always happen...it is when they come often and when doing certain thing you need to worry.

well, i havent had this much trouble since like, a month ago... idk why... SKSE seems to be okay... but now im pretty confused... i finished the dawnguard quest ages ago, but with the SKSE version, i have to do it again, is that normal?
Rhuto 2014년 2월 4일 오전 2시 28분
SKSE is just a program that open up for more advance modding, and if you are using mods that depend on this, then you must ALWAYS start the game from it.

If you have BOSS installed...run it...it will tell you if the SKSE version is outdated...it will also tell you if any mods have conflict.

I assume that you have playd the game to level 94....NOT playd the consolle to reach that level :)

88 hours and console??. I know some mods use SKSE but mainly as a launch platform and utility options, not game play, mods do that, but I could be wrong!!.
Slayer Tip|Josh 2014년 2월 4일 오전 2시 34분
yesh, i played legitimately... only commands i used were killall if i was rushing LOL

but yeah... Dawnguard... why do i have to do it again? is it because of SKSE?
Slayer Tip|Josh 2014년 2월 4일 오전 2시 35분
Kelvy, i had to make a new steam account, i just transferred my save over from my other account
