RIP level 93 character :((
after hours of playing... grinding and shizzle, ive been getting so many crashes... so, i have decided to start new, hoping that the whole save game corruption would be fixed...

This game is a bit broken at the moment, especially if you mess with mods... like what i did (basically adding ♥♥♥♥ to the towns, making them look ♥♥♥♥♥♥ic and all that)

If anyone wants to add me for advice, i have over 500 hours of gameplay (unofficial, this is my second steam account due to the first being hacked)

... so yeah... add me, come with me on my new journey... :D

Man that sucks and is what scares me. My game is already crashing and I'm not even level 20 with this new guy.

The thing that ♥♥♥♥es me off is my Whiterun, its glitched all to hell with or without mods new character or no. It is literally the epicentre of skyrims glitches in my game

my main crashes are well, timed i think... every 10 minutes, not even, of gameplay, and it crashes... D:

Josh try and keep track of the time interval between crashes... if it is consistent it could be some scheduled backgound activity, benign or malignant. There are a ton of bots/malware about that like to regularly report to their masters.

Have you done a scan for rootkits?

If you don't know what you're doing with mods then you will make your game unplayable. It's as simple as that.

Did you clean your master files?
Did you make sure that your mods are compatible?
Did you make sure that your load order is correct?
Did you install your mods in the same order that they are going to be loaded?
Did you really make sure that your mods are compatible by looking at all of the conflicts in TES5Edit and making any necessary patches?

Most important things are:

- Save files will have remnants of scripts from mods you might pull of mid game. They will stack and most likely cause some sort of trouble. Testing mods with separate save is allways a good idea.

- BOSS can (usually) sort loading order issues, where authority between different mods is decided by their loading order.

- TES5Edit is mostly for modders. Players just get confused with it. Trust in endorsements and top comments. If file is dirty as hell, it usually shows.

- Wise thing (IMO) to handle mods is to build them around separate themes. Thematic mods and mod groups are usually so different that adding other similar mods in to same game is rare.

My own game runs round survival - Frostfall as center mod - trade - Trade and Barter as center mod - and caravan life - Ultimate Follower Overhaul as center mod. There are others, but these are most important for me.

If mods a view are not compatible with center mod, or I dislike them for whatever reasons, they get tossed away. This makes the amount of conflicts extremely rare. I can recommend this way for everyone. For example, if you wish to change Whiterun's appearance, selcet one mod as center mod and use it to build a functional mod group in that mods terms.

Edit: Sorry about typos. LO just lost English dictionary. It is one of most stable programs around, but lately there has been some issues with translated versions.
