Game crashing on bethesda screen after installing HD DLC pack
Game has started to crash after installing the HDR texture pack from the steam DLC page.
I should be able to run the game easily though, even with the HDR pack.

It might depend on how much RAM you have available. I run it fine on the limit this games gives me. (about 4gb). Can you give us some specs on your system?

Certainly.

My computer uses a sabetooth Z87 Motherboard, an AMD Powercolor 290 with 4 GB of V ram, 16 Gigs of RAM, a 2 TB HDD, and a 250GB SDD with my windows 8 OS on it.

UPDATE: Tried disabling the HDTP and the game continues to crash.

It was working great before I installed the pack! Weird.

hey idouts if you look at the data file in the skyrim screen before it loads the bethesda screen well anyway look into the data file where you have your subscribed mods it should say yes but sometimes it likes to unsubscribe the mods on their own to no, so if you delete the subscribed mods saying no it should work for you again, and yes it okay to redownload the mods again best of luck
