Don't support this company until they make a working game
Alt tab crashes are unacceptable. Ram limits causing crashes when you mod are unacceptable. The game running as bad as it does despite look like ♥♥♥♥ is unacceptable. Bethesda's programming team are unacceptably bad. Don't support this company until they make stable products. This game is STILL broken beyond repair and they won't fix it, instead relying on the mod community and it's disgusting.

I've had my game crash once.

Dude, you just have a bad computer... It doesn`t do it to any other person I know that has the game!

Don't Alt-Tab; Skyrim is a RAM hungry game, and thus isn't Alt-Tab friendly [this isn't Counter-strike]. There are other games that are also not Alt-Tab friendly. Perhaps you don't have enough ram?

Ram Limits while modding is simple; don't mod. Modding is something Bethesda gave us PC players the ability to do, but it isn't officially supported. Keep crying about it and watch Bethesda drop modding from future Elder Scroll installments.
--So if you computer isn;t as good as you thought it was, then the solution is simple; don't use mods.

Not sure what your last complaint is about. I think SKyrim looks darn good and runs darn good for an open-world game. Do not compare closed world game performance to Skyrim.

I've only put a few hours into the game but it works great for me. It looks pretty good too considering the pedigree it comes from. I've been reading a number of issues about the game and almost 90%+ are because the user added mods to it.

If you realise that Alt-Tab makes your game crash then why do you persist in attempting to use Alt-Tab? Seems like you need to apportion some of the blame elsewhere? The vanilla game runs just fine on a semi decent rig.

Oh and I changed the ALT+TAB for SHIFT+TAB instead

You sure it's not user error? My game works fine with 255 mods.

My computer far exceeds the reccomended specs, so it's DEFINITELY not that, it's just broken.

Considering how much Bethesda advertises their mod support, I'm going to do it. The level scaling cripples the game without mods. Also there's plenty of OPEN world games that look and run better than Skyrim. Not alt tabbing isn't an option I'm afraid. I'm always on call and I'd like to be able to minimize, answer a message and then get back into my game. EVERY other game allows me to do this, so why not the great infallible skyrim?

Dude, it's just a game. Don't let it get you so worked up.

Yes, yes and yes, we have heard this all before. Blaa, blaa, blaa and we don't care. We like the game and will continue to play as long as it remains interesting and fun. Please go somewhere else to start a rebellion. Thank you.

You should boycott Microsoft. Maybe they'll fix all the windows bugs?
Dr. Shocks . DO Jun 26, 2014 @ 11:29am
Your modding argument still does not persuade me. Modding affects the games stability to varying degrees [depending on each persons hardware]; and thus it does not make sense to complain about stability when using mods; mods are not a right but a privilege.
Bethesda advertises Skyrim Modding ability, but to my knowledge they do not advertise any modding support.

However, regarding the ALt-Tab, try playing in Windowed Mode; perhaps it won't crash.

In my experience Skyrim runs fine.
