Dawnguard or Vampires

I am just starting the Dawnguard quests and i have no clue which side to chose. I have already played through the vampire side on xbox and that was pretty fun, but I dont know if the dawnguard is really worth it. What are the benefits of the dawnguard? Thanks for the help in advance :)

-Dwarven crossbows.
-Rune dawnguard weapons.
-Cool armored huskies.
-You can become a Vampire Lord anyway.

the vampire faction gives some bonuses to vampire abilities with their quests.

Yeah! Being a vampire lord that is also a vampire hunter is quite fun. Just make sure you finish all Dawnguard side quest first before asking Serana to turn you into a VL.
