No sound!
Hi!
I have no sound afther Bethesda logo, i start the game and I have no sound.
I tryed:
-setting to different frequencies
-updating/reinstaling drivers and DirectX
-check that my setting ar set to stereo
-Skyrim is not on mute
-reinstalling Skyrim with no mod, not even hearthfire on that mods
-checking cache
Pc specs:
AMD Athlon II x2 245, 2.90GHz
4 Gb RAM
64bit Windows 7
Nvidia 9500GT
Realtek on board hd audio
ASRock N68C-S UCC

PLEASE HELP!

I have the same problem nothing seems to fix it :(.The game is unplayable and i just bought it.

I found a fix! Just run Steam in administrator mode.Hope this helps!

I'm replying in as many places as possible after fixing it for myself, so this is copy/pasted. No other solution worked for me (I encourage you to try all solutions first). Here's my fix: if you installed Skyrim on an SSD drive, try moving it (via SteamMover, google it) to an external non-SSD drive, or just a non-SSD drive anywhere. I can't believe I found the fix after this long! Music, weapon sheathing, shouts, extra combat noises - all have returned! Woo hoo!
