Werewolf or Vampire? *Dawnguard*
I am currently a Werewolf, but I don't really know what to pick.

In my opinion, Vampires get more perks and become stronger because Vampire Lord kicks♥♥♥♥♥ Then again, I'm the seductive agent type, so Vampire fit my playstyle.

While they can melee well, the most effective (read coolest) abilities of the vampire lord rely on magic. Spellcasters tend to make for more effective vampires.

Vampires get most out of roleplay and remain quite strong in higher levels.

Werewolfs benefit mostly for playing the story, but some of their abilities are not as effective than vampires in higher levels.

Both can be played trought he whole game with a good roleplay. Werewolfs just need to be more predators and less open field butcheres during the higher character levels. That is actually quite fun, if you can adjust your gaming style accordingly.

I just think that the Vampires' disability is the no-regen in sunlight. But the eyes though.

Wolves are way cooler imo, specially after I got some mod for a better Lycan skin.
Other than that, I think that it's much easier to be a Vampire Lord, you can transform and go back whenever you want, you don't need to feed in order to stay in the vamp form and the skills you get are very powerful for attacking and dodging.

if you become a werepire (no mod needed) you can get around this by becoming a werewolf and changing back to human .
you can have the best of both worlds

Have you tried a high level werewolf with maxed out perks? I ♥♥♥♥ing solo'd Mirrak with it in about three minutes. Werewolf, with hircine's ring is the strongest and most fun. Vampire Lord requires more strategy, though I have yet to fully level my vampire lord, which I am working on now. And yes sadly the vamps do have more roleplay and story to them than the werewolves do.

Still in real life I would pick a vampire, so I could live forever.....

Both only end up becoming a hinderance after a certain point. Ive got a level 86 dude and I am way stronger without either. For begginer fun, id go with vampire.

For me it wolves all the way, however this is due to so far everytime I have tried going down the vampire path (with a few different characters now) I have hit a game breaking bug, which currently I am unable to find a solution for, which is biting spouses necks,

When I hypnotise a spouse or even cattle, I never get the bite option, If I wait for them to sleep, I then get the bite option, however the game does not recognise I have done the quest. Most annoying, so now I just avoid the questline altoghter (as the bug happens quite some way down the questline, this results in me having to use a much, much earlier save game wasting days of play).

Plus I like the daylight :)
