Chatting Sessions
Anyone wanna chat in either skype or Razor while playing Skyrim. I think it would be a swell idea, and it would lessen some of the lonelyness in the game. Any opinions?

I play Skyrim to escape my lonely existance. Chating with someone would only remind me of my un-Life.

Well, me and my friends would usually do races to see who can create the best character in a couple of hours, however, this was on Xbox 360. On PC, there aren't many people willing to talk to you about games, unless they have known you for a while.

So, I just thought of a group thing to where if anyone wanted to just play the game together, or basically any game, while talking, then I am up for it.

Actually, you may have a point, however, I play video games for different reasons, not just to play casually through the game and just play that game for hours and hours on end without any particular goal. Which is the reason why I jump from game to game.

I am deeply sorry if that sounded offensive just now. I wasn't trying to be

I was being sarcastic, well, mostly. I have never set up skype or razor but have thought about it when I played MMO for a brief time. Running on the same pc what kind of lag or problems could i anticapate.

To be real, Skype can cause a bit of lag, depending on your connection, IF you are hosting the call. Razor eliminates this. This is what me and my friends usually use and we chill on there and talk about random crap. It's up to you and if your cool playing Skyrim without chatting, then I am also willing to be just your friend for a reference or anything

its not a bad idea because even in a solo game. its nice to bounce ideas for builds or quest objectives in a timely manner and considering I suck at typing and use a controller when playing. if u dont mind i will request u as a friend, look into it and get back to you

alright with me. I appreciate the thought, and to also add, I also use a controller! So typing is a no go for me too

That is fine, the reason I use controller is because Raptr tracks my hours, but doesn't allow me to use mouse and keyboard for skyrim

I kinda find it rude to be playing a game that requires concentration, and pretending to converse with someone at the same time. I pause, and go to chat to chat... lol cr@ppy sentence but I'm sure it makes sense.... to someone..... somewhere....

I mean, Skyrim doesn't really take concentration. I've played through the game in about a couple of hours while talking to someone about food, the whole time. It's actually pretty fun, because I can never get bored talking to someone while playing a game.

Ok, substitute the word, "Concentration" for, "Immersion"
We all play it our own ways :)
