Well Hearthfire does add a very very minor bandit group that you'll probably won't encounter unless you fulfill very specific criteria.

Your house will get attacked by bandits every now and then, your spouse will be kidnapped and ransomed by bandits, a giant will show up and try and kill your cow (they seem to have a thing for cows judging the ones that lie on their barbeques)

but other than that, no.

Actually they won't, they just go down when its their time to do so (8-10a.m, 6-8pm), its a coincidence you're heading down there as well. If skeevers are there they'll run away screaming just like any other enemy.

All right, I might give it a shot one day. But, I'm going to set Bleak Falls Barrow up as my daycamp center. Complete with frostbite spiders and draugr chaperones. :-P
