Stange quest: Mythical Artifact Cave monster?

So I go to a cave near flakreath where I have to help a hunter to avenge his friends against some springan. Well what happened after getting inside I noticed a purple gigantic shadow comming towards me called Cave Monster, and it looked and behaved like a werewolf. After I killed it it began a quest about retrieving the key from the cave monster. Has enyone come across this? Is it part from the mod "Tame The Beasts of Skyrim?" I am confused, I haven't found anything related to it.

i don't think it's part of the regular game.....i've done that quest a number of times with just the spriggans

Indeed mod I just cleared the cave myself. No cavemonster to be seen.

Wait until he gets back to a home, the Cavemonster mod adds the closet and bed boogiepersons too.

Awesome, a quest you know nothing about. the mystery must be killing you. Follow the quest or find a corner and curl up in it, stricken with fear.

That quest is part of a mod which we probably do not use and that you never told us what it is. In other words, we can't really help you if we don't know what you're talking about.

My only two guesses would be "Tame the beasts of skyrim" or the one that adds wild werewolves to the world as normal enemies.

identify the mod
in console type help "quest name, creature name"
search byu pgup and pgdn
the first two numbers are the mod in the load order

so just type help (quest's name) and that would help out?

If that doesn't work but " " marks on the quest/object/npc name. Like;

help "ice cream"
