Which one should I use?

iNeed.

RnD is good, but its a complicated mess trying to figure out what and how much to eat.

There is actually little difference.

iNeed is more immersive. You can get water from the well and similar places.

Realistic Needs and Diseases ops installing another mod (drinking fountans of Skyrim), but has more support base from other mods - like W.A.T.E.R.

I am using Realistic Needs and Diseases, but I don't really think that there would be something preventing me to move to iNeeds, if needed. I like how RND works, but iNeed seems to work just as well.

I think I will use Ineed because of the SKYUI symbols.

I use W.A.T.E.R 2 and I cant drink from a stream using RND, dont know why, I will try Ineed and see if I like it.

Oh yeah. That would actually be the part that I like with RND. You have to occationally eat more than just your average customed-to-carry-with-you food. It gves is it a bit more varying feeling.

I think that iNeed is for systematic players who count their rations.
RND is for player, who like get their bows out, in the middle of wilderness, and start hunting.

But, as said, there is little difference.

I've used RND more than iNeed. That said, I like that iNeed is lighter than RND, while also having a better UI (those hunger/thirst/sleepiness icons). I'm just not sure I'd be able to live with not being able to get water from rivers like I can with RND.

Does iNeed have food spoilage? I use RN&Ds and for some reason my food never spoils, even though spoilage is enabled.

iNeed doesn't have diseases, that alone makes me not want to install it. When you're vulnerable to it, it can be quite nice and put you on the spot, detereorate your damage, carry weight, lots of stuff, and gets worst as time goes by, if left untreated. You start cherishing shrines and cure disease potions, and are more careful with spoiled or raw food, or even bad water sources.

Otherwise iNeed is the same thing but with 3 icons on your HUD which i don't miss at all because RND lets me know when i get hungry/thirsty/sleepy just the same, just instead of icons, its a message on the top left. After awhile you already know when you might want some food, or some water and ya grab your waterskin (or drink from a river), doesn't even take warning messages anymore.

3 icons, "warning lights", is too little to make it worthwhile, imo.

For me those are reasons not to use iNeed. The less that needs to be on my hud, the better.

With you there. I am with one of those camps that sometimes believe that less is more. I use RND but iNeed does have some neat stuff in it.

I believe iNeed does cover diseases but it's optional, can be turned on in the MCM. I never really looked into that, though, so I don't know if it's as involved as in RN&D.

I was thinking about using RND.

Ineed is more sympthetic for the people who want to also focus on quests...

RnD is hardcore and ment for the more realistic experience. With frostfall its just like real life... with dragons...

Personally I think there both crap doh. Skyrim is for slicing and dicing, if you want a true skyrim mod, CHECK OUT DEADLY MUTILATION!

Check what the "Drink from Stream" key is.

Both are far too complicated for my tastes. I just wanted something I could eat, drink, and sleep with. So I created my own mod.

Way too many mods that think immersion is all about the complexity.
