Making the game more realistic
So me and my friend aren't very happy with how some of the NPCs behave in game, its not very realistic and we want to change that.

Im talking about stuff like failing to pickpocket an 80 year old grandma, just to have her pull a dagger and fight you, no matter how you look, what gear you have, how hench you are etc. Or killing 7 out of 9 bandits and having the rest fight you even though you clearly wrecked them and they will surely die. Another example would be civilians not hiding/fleeing during various attacks(vampire, dragon etc).

Any mods to fix those things? Overall we want people to not act as reckless and tough. While guard AI seems fine, having peasants and farmers throw themselves at you over the 9 gold you tried to steal is just plain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Ty for help.

You can modify their behaviour via the Creation Kit. I believe it's the confidence stat. On a less meta note, it is Skyrim; Bandit raids are a very real possibility so everyone has to learn how to fight.

@Delta True about bandit raids, but I wouldn't think that a grandma would assault with a dagger a spear armed, muscular man in heavy armor.

She's going to die soon anyway. Might as well try to take down some thieving A-hole who could hurt her friends and family.

@Delta argh, true again, but how many old people do actually think that way? :D

Tis Skyrim; one of the most MANLIEST games out there. Skyrim is a game set in the land of fantasy vikings where bandits, the dead and dragons plague the land. A civil war between vikings and the roman empire is brewing while the biggest baddest dragon is out to end the world. Almost every male character has a beard and you play the Dragonborn. Magical Pest Control which you rip the souls on dragons and you kill people by shouting at them.

EDIT: But yeah, take your time in the Creation Kit.

skrub , if we could go back in time i would ask a 55 years old women to fight you and you would lose. womesn in "that time era" we're pretty damn strong and probably sronger than some of our "muscle guys" they relyed on sheer strenght to lift everything they needed, they didnt have high tech gadgets to easy mode the effort. keep this in mind; in the early 20th century louis cyr , THE strongest man ever back lift 2tons with his bare arms and back, he lifted a 500 pounder rock with his bare hands and held 4 horses that were pulling him both ways with his 2 arms for a whole minute HECK even his daughter was lifting 330 pounds weight for teh heck of it at 9 years old. i dont see anyone actually doing this in the 21st century so imagine if THIS was doable 100 years ago....imagine how freaking strong they were 800 years ago
