Laptop or Desktop ?
What do you guys play skyrim on ? A laptop or desktop computer ? I've just got an 17'' i5 as a bargain but would much rather have got a desktop for optimal comfort & easy customization. What's your choice & reason ?

Desktop obviously, you can add/take away whatever you want. Graphics not up to the job? Swap it out for another one. Try doing that on a laptop. Laptops just aren't designed for gaming. Yes there are "gaming laptops" but desktops are just so much more flexible.

Desktop until such time as I can afford a 24 inch16:9 lappy. Everything just seems so small on my 17" laptop after I upgraded my house TV.

desktop all the way because laptop cost a fortune for nothing. over ehating issues, built in graphic card meaning you cant change it, build in motherboard same issues not enough heat ventilation meaning you can end up blowing up your cores and rams....

try this: get a friend to hold your laptop like a wooden board for martial arts and spin kick it, you never knew frustration could be this fun to evacuate xD

desktop ... laptops are more expensive not upgradable and slower then desktops.

Desktops always for me. Been using a laptop as well, but it just isn't the right feel. After years, laptop is still a secondary backup machine for me

I play on a laptop. But I would kill for a desktop to play on.

Cuz it has nothing to do with performance vs portability right?....
Lap tops are junk compared to a desktop. You can get a good I7/760m lappy and it's still a piece of junk compared to a desktop.
If you aren't a performance junky, and don't care as much about fps+ image quality...by all means get a laptop.
