People who still use the original graphics
I'm wondering if there are any other people on here that still use the vanilla graphics, like me. My PC can easily run the ENB mods, but I'm too lazy and I'm scared not to affect the game. Otherwise, I'm not using many general mods either. I have the Wet and Cold mod, the Holidays and SKSE. I feel it's better if I don't add weapon and armor mods since it'll modify gameplay, which I don't want. And you guys?

To each his own as they say.

I still use the vanilla skyrim , I only downloaded a bloody mod from the workshop and the official hi-res texture

I might start thinking about installing ENB and 2k texture

Think the ENB already makes textures look like heaven..

I have almost 40 mods running, nearly all improve graphics and my performance has barely dropped from what it was when I ran a test with the vanilla game. I would recommend getting better textures, fire, water, view distance, dense grass, Quality World Map (With Roads), Climates of Tamriel, Open Cities and the Flora Overhaul. It took very little time for me to get these all up and running (using Nexus) and as long as your frame rate is good in the vanilla (or close to) game these mods should only make a slight difference, if any.

The only mod that I have that could be considered "cheating" is a house mod. I only did this because doing some trivial mission for a Jarl isn't what I have in mind just to even buy a house. Other than that I agree, armor mods, weapons, etc... I don't like all of that, I want to experience the lore as it was meant to be- just in a prettier environment :)

I was looking at this :

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30936/?

It look awesome , but ... it's like taking about 30-45 minute to install , plus all the the time you need to download , it's pretty long in my opinion , but the final result look really amazing

They should try to do a pack , with all those mods together.

I still think the game look great in ultra graphic

I still use vanilla textures (apart from Hi-res and a few enhancements) as I really do not want to ♥♥♥♥ up my Skyrim as I have a ton of mods installed plus I want to wait until I upgrade my PC soon to be sure that my GPU can handle it.

left hand ring, immersive patrol( civil war needs military troops patroling the roads) immersive armor because light armor are way too limited in choices compared to heavy, immersive weapons because it adds a whole set of REAL medieval weaponry merts nightingale mods because the enchants on the original are completly lame and obsolete once you pass level 20 and the look is too awesome and character mod to make them more smooth instead of axed looking

they will all only give you the max your card can handle.......if you can't play above low setting it won't do anything but make your graphics slower.

not even. im using a sub vanilla texture mod (not the extreme one) and better performance series, but i've also added about 30 mods so i end up getting some stutter here and there.

lol why use an ENB and downgrade your FPS from cool and fluent 60 to 30 or lower just for some shiny stones and stuff...

skyrim looks grey and drak, thats the game for me i dont want to change this, so off texture pack is enough for me...

If you use an ENB, then use the RealVision ENB. The RealVision ENB is the best (and I mean THE BEST) one out there right now, and it does not over saturate the colours like other ENB's do, the RealVision ENB aims to bring realistic colours into Skyrim.

Seriously, check out this video.

I haven't heavily modded until recently and I still stay away from Graghic mods. I prefer gameplay mods considering I have played some really ugly games that I loved because of the gameplay. I think every one has though.

So true.

And Skyrim has such a great atmosphere. Always wanted to play as some sort of noble in some sort of hybrid RTS mod for Skyrim like they've made for Fallout and Morrowind. The only problem is that everyone that is out is basically: You get 5000 gold a day. You need 100000 to buy this thing which will increase the amount of gold you receive a day. No expense. No depth.
