Help anyway to return skyrim, It wont work!

I bought this game for my friend (legendary edition) and the game does not work with his Computer, is there anyway I can return Skyrim?

I bought it on the steam store 75% off my friend wanted it so I bought it as a gift and sent it to him but it does not work for his computer Im wondering if I can get my money back

If it was bought as a Gift there is only one way I know of getting your money back which is contacting steam. But what seems to be the problem with your friends computer.

You know what I think it is I was talking to him and he has a MAC :( I did not know that before I bought it and he did not know that the mac does not work for some steam games (he's new to steam, he got steam so I could send him skyrim) so the game was never played is there anyway I could contact steam?

It is incredibly unlikely that Steam will give you a refund. In Valve's eyes you bought the game and couldn't use it because you didn't do any research to make sure everything would work well.

Besides your particluar case. Valve is known for not refunding the purchase of games.

Click on 'Help' at the top of the screen, then select Steam Support, should take you to a contact page or whatnot. That said, I'd be surprised if you can get a refund for not having checked whether the game would be playable on the recipient's PC.

Not necessarily true. Valve does have an unofficial unwritten one-time-exception policy; if they decide to refund you (mind that they don't have to; it's completely up to them and you can't blame them if they won't offer you this option), the game will disappear from whatever account if was redeemed to (your friend) and the money will be returned to the original buyer (OP).
The likeliness of getting your money back is bigger if your friend has little to no registered play time in this game.

EDIT: Be prepared to wait for an answer for some time - several days, maybe a week or more. They will eventually respond to everyone so be patient.
