Is Skyrim the best game in The Elder Scrolls series?
I was talking to a friend of mine and he said that Skyrim is the best game in The Elder Scrolls series. I just wanted to get the opinions of other people as I hear Morrowind was the best game quite often.

graphic wise yeah but the story kinda sucks, Morrowind is probably the best. All the guards in MW look like Robin Williams lmao

They were working on a project to combine the two I think give MW Skyrim graphics ,,, not sure the site tho

I'll say Skyrim is one of the best "northern feel / dragon slaying" game of the series... Oblivion is the best "fantasy feel / demon slaying" game of the series.. Morrowind is the best "otherworld feel / alien slaying" game of the series... just my opinion... if i have to rate it.. i would go like this...(Most to the least) > Skyrim / Oblivion / Morrowind for the looks, but the storyline, it would be.. Morrowind / Skyrim / Oblivion. But for the exploring section, it would be Oblivion - Skyrim (tied) / Morrowind.. hope it helps.

I honestly think this is the first time I've heard a person say that.

graphics, yes, but i think that only being in one province stinks, and you can find bethseda got a little lazy,it left out the arena in windhelm, marrying, elisif, igrod the younger, serana, and planned to.plus, a bunch of test areas, characters, quests, that look really cool.you can find them on the usepwiki. not to mention destroying the thieves guild, etc, etc. alot of common complaints that they could have fixed, killing paarthurnax.Honestly, they should have given at least another update or dlc.

they were going to let us marry serana, but would ahve hasd to pay the voice actor more.dont know about you,i would ahve payed an extra 10-20 to hear"why yes,why wouldnt i be interested in you"

also why you cant marry arngeir(not sure why you would)ulfric, tullius, alduin, paarthurnax.id actually consider tullius or paarthurnax as viable options, even though im straight, that dragon voice gets you.

Haha. Marrying Paarthurnax would be interesting.

Skyrim is extremely small compared to Daggerfall. Daggerfall had 64,000 square miles of playable area to explore.

But honestly how much was worth expoloring, there is such thing as to big, I can play Just Cause 2 for long because I get annoyed at the size....

It is for me. I haven't played any of the others.

Morrowind is the best game of the serie because you have a good roleplay felling. You can't be the boss of the mage guild when you didn't know how to cast a spell. The same is there with the other guilds. The story is better too an an important thing is that you can't be the mighty hero who saved the world and still be level 1.

Sounds like you want an arbitrarily small game world with an incredulous amount of relevant stuff packed into a tiny area. The real world is big and the parts of it that are relevant to you are sometimes seperated by large areas that aren't relevant to you at all.

RPGs need to take a step back. Fear, darkness, cold, uncertainty, and hunger need to be central to gameplay. The place relevant to my quest shouldn't be marked on the map just because I've taken a quest on. There shouldn't be an in game quest journal. The ancient, mystical artifact rumored to be hidden away in a dungeon should sometimes not exist at all and be nothing more than myth. You should be able to run out of torches in the middle of a dungeon and become hopelessly lost, entirely at the mercy of unseen foes, or fall down a pit to your death in your blind wanderings.
