Roggvir quest in Solitude?

I want to retrieve the Talos amulet from the catacomb but it is marked red (steal) ...is this correct or am I experiencing a bug?

.... Did you try wikiing the quest, and see if this bug is mentioned or not, You do have the quest active , so as to loot his corpse or grab it from the tomb ??

You could retrieve the amulet right away following his execution. All you have to do is go up to the platform on which he is beheaded and search his corpse. The amulet will be there and it will not be marked in red as an item that can be stolen. I think the game does that when the amulet is in the casket because all caskets are marked as containers you shouldn't take items from. It is essentially grave robbing, really, but the same concept applies to any other container as well because the game also marks those as containers with items you shouldn't steal. The game's not going to punish you for taking items considered to be stolen goods once you've taken them, but it's a warning that a bounty will be placed on you if something marked in red was taken with witnesses present who see you commit the crime.
